Community Action Programs (CAPs)
Community Action Associations (CAAs) and Programs (CAPs) were set up 30 years ago by the federal government to fight poverty through self-sufficiency. Because one of there major functions is advocacy - along with emergency crisis assistance, and nutritional and educational aid - talk to the CAP nearest you about your situation to see what help they can provide.
